Eureka is a newly constructed beach cottage, only 30 metres from the beach at Ferry Point, with spectacular views from the cottage windows over to Llansteffan Castle, the Gower Peninsula and Ferryside.

Eureka is on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Llansteffan which is situated at the mouth of the estuary of the River Towy, overlooked by an impressive 13th Century castle. The village has 2 pubs, an excellent restaurant, village store and post office. There is also a beachfront café and a fish and chip vendor. The village is situated on the Pilgrims Way with excellent coastal and country walks.

Available locally are sea fishing, sailing, bird watching, and tennis. Golf and pony trekking can be found within 7 miles, whilst the market town of Carmarthen is just 9 miles away, with a good selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and a leisure centre. There are also other family activities in the area – the National Botanical Garden of Wales, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, a Steam Railway and Oakwood Theme Park.

Eureka sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single. Downstairs is an open-plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area, together with a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and a shower room. Upstairs is the main double bedroom with balcony and a full bathroom with walk-in shower.

The kitchen is well equipped, with table and chairs, a ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave, washing machine, electric kettle and toaster. The comfortable sitting area has a three-seater sofa, a two-seater sofa and an easy chair, also satellite T.V. and DVD. There is gas central heating throughout.

Bedlinen, towels, tea towels, beach towels, electricity and gas are included in the price. A cot and a high chair are available on request. Unfortunately pets are not allowed. We have a no smoking policy inside the cottage. Outside there is a veranda, decking area and lawns, with plenty of parking space for at least 2 cars.
