Dairy Cottages are a perfect haven for outdoor enthusiasts being surrounded by 35 acres of rolling farmland, woods and stream. The farm is on the south-facing hillside of the Clettwr Valley and the gardens are terraced to provide wonderful views over the countryside. The Clettwr River borders the farm with fishing rights on the riverbank.

Situated just outside the picturesque village of Capel Dewi near Llandysul in Ceredigion it provides easy access to the beautiful coast and countryside of West Wales.

On the farm is a landmark glacial feature called Cerrig Hyllod (‘The Ugly Stones’) and visitors are welcome to follow the woodland path along the riverbank and up a fairly steep hill to the stony outcrop. While we cannot guarantee clear skies, our valley is sheltered from light pollution and offers some great star gazing in the evening from the deck and gardens.

Nearby is the Teifi Trail, part of the National Cycle Network, the Llandysul Angling Association and the Paddlers Canoe Club. Thirty minutes drive will bring you to the beautiful coastline of Cardigan Bay with its unspoilt beaches at Poppit Sands, Mwnt, Penbryn, Llangranog, and New Quay. Dotted around the countryside are numerous ancient and medieval historical sites, from Celtic hill forts to Roman mines and Welsh monasteries from the Middle Ages. There are also excellent restaurants and pubs in the vicinity where one can enjoy home made local fare or more exotic cuisine.
