Cwm Halen is in a quiet position in the corner of a cul de sac on the edge of New Quay and is within walking distance of the sandy beaches. New Quay is a little jewel in West Wales with coloured terraced cottages rising above a quaint harbour with its two beaches, various pubs, cafes and restaurants. You can take boat trips from the harbour along the Ceredigion Heritage Coast with the chance of seeing dolphins swimming alongside. There are stunning coastal walks and many other sandy beaches and little villages in nearby coves. The picturesque Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is about 6 miles to the north and the market town of Cardigan is about 20 minutes drive to the south, beyond which lies Pembrokeshire with its National Park and many visitor attractions all within reach for days out.

Cwm Halen sleeps 6 in three ground floor bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with twin beds and the third with bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and hand basin. The living/dining room has comfortable seating, TV, DVD, radio/CD player and a dining table which seats 6. The kitchen equipment includes a fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.

Outside, there are pleasant lawned gardens with a patio to the rear and further garden area beyond and to the side including a small picturesque wooded area with a small stream below. Please note that because of the stream, children should be carefully supervised. By prior arrangement we can also accommodate a tent in the garden for additional guests.

Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. Parking is available in the drive and on the roadside in the cul de sac. Sorry we cannot accommodate pets and no smoking is permitted.

Cwm Halen has been completely refurbished for 2012 to offer fresh, modern accommodation.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. In addition, a refundable deposit of £50 is required to be paid as a separate cheque with the payment of the balance. This will be refunded after the holiday subject to the cottage being left in good condition. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
