Cross Cottage, near Martletwy, is a unique, traditional limewashed cottage, conveniently situated for visiting many beaches, including Tenby, Saundersfoot, Manorbier, Freshwater East and Broadhaven South, as well as the towns of Narberth and Pembroke. lt is ideal for those wishing to relax and enjoy beautiful countryside and coast but is also near to visitor attractions such as Oakwood, Bluestone's Blue Lagoon water centre and Folly Farm. Many outdoor activities, including golf and horseriding, and places of historical interest, such as Carew castle and Pembroke castle are within easy reach. A wide range of wildlife can be seen when walking locally in such areas as Minwear woods, Lawrenny, Landshipping and Cresswell Quay. Here, the Cresselly Arms is well known for its traditional beer and unique atmosphere.

Cross Cottage was featured in Country Living magazine for its renovation in traditional Pembrokeshire style. Beamed ceilings, flagged floors and log fire give immense character to this 300 year old home. The well-equipped and comfortable cottage has accommodation for up to 6 with one double bedroom downstairs and two curtained, twin bedded 'crogloft' bedrooms accessed via steep ladder type stairs. These may therefore be less suitable for under 5s but are always exciting for slightly older children! The open plan living room/kitchen has a woodburning fire, easy chairs and sofa, and dining table seating six. Facilities include: double oven electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier, Freeview digital TV and DVD player. The downstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath, a toilet and wash basin.

A special feature is the large enclosed garden with trees, shrubs, flower beds and pond and there is ample off-road parking adjacent to the cottage. Included in the price are oil central heating and electricity, logs, bed linen and tea towels. lf required, towels (1 bath and 1 hand towel) can be provided at a cost of £4 per person per week. Sorry no pets and no smoking.

Reductions are offered on weekly rates, out of season, for 2 guests only and short breaks are also available out of season (minimum 3 nights).
