Nestled in the heart of the countryside, just outside the quaint village of Moylegrove, and yet just a few minutes drive from local beaches and within twenty minutes’ walk of Ceibwr Bay lies Croeso, an idyllic country cottage, which sleeps six.
Overlooking the fields of an organic dairy farm, Croeso is an ideal base for those holidaying in West Wales, just five miles from the popular village of Newport and six miles from Cardigan. Croeso is a very attractive and charming cottage dating from the 1900s and it is furnished throughout in stripped pine furniture and decorated in traditional Farrow and Ball colours. Situated far from any hustle or bustle it is peaceful and secluded and is ideal for families as well as those simply looking for a cosy hideaway.
Accommodation
Croeso sleeps six with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom located on the first floor and one twin bedroom located on the ground floor. The property has been newly refurnished for summer 2011 and more improvements are planned for winter 2011/12.
FIRST FLOOR: to take full advantage of the wonderful countryside views the kitchen and separate spacious dining room are located on the first floor. The kitchen has a range of modern fully fitted units and is fully equipped with integral electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. The dining room affords glorious countryside views from dual aspect windows and is furnished with two seater settee, and dining table to sit six. A selection of board games and puzzles are kept in the sideboard.
Also located on the first floor is the bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
The large landing furnished with comfy seat and bookcase (well stocked with books!) is just the place to while away a few hours relaxing reading or looking out of the French doors of the Juliet balcony and taking in the stunning views across the open countryside.
GROUND FLOOR: this floor has beamed ceilings and a large lounge with a wood burner stove, flat screen TV, digital Freeview, DVD player, Nintendo Wii(with a selection of games) and a radio/CD player/ipod player. There is also ample seating in the lounge with 2 large leather settees to relax on in front of the fire.
Outside
French doors lead from the lounge onto a very pleasant slate patio area with table and chairs. Off the patio is an enclosed lawned garden which a wide variety of birds, including woodpeckers, visit on a daily basis (you may even be lucky and see Red Kites and Goshawks soaring high above). The rear of the property overlooks the fields of an organic dairy farm. The semi-detached cottage is set back on a private driveway off a very quiet country lane and there is off road parking for 2 cars.
