Cobblers Cottage is located in the pretty hamlet of Nanternis set in beautiful West Wales countryside within walking distance of the Ceredigion Heritage Coast. A short drive away (or a good walk of less than 2 miles) is the secluded 18th Century smugglers cove of Cwm Tydu where you may spot some Atlantic grey seals or just sit back and enjoy the scenery. The cottage is a 5 minute drive from New Quay with its two sandy beaches, picturesque harbour and the bottlenose dolphins to look out for, as well as everything you’d want in a small seaside resort. Closer to home, you can reach the sea by taking some lovely footpaths through the woods of Cwm Soden and following the river as it goes out to sea. You will then come out onto the main Ceredigion Coast path with its private inlets and beaches which can’t be reached by car.

If you want to explore some of the other beaches in the area, the Cardi Bach bus service runs during the summer months and will pick you up and drop you off in Nanternis. There is a pub within walking distance in the next village of Llwyndafydd, which serves cream teas in the afternoon as well as traditional bar meals and is a lovely spot to sit outside on a summer’s day. Further afield the picture postcard Georgian town of Aberaeron is a 15 minute drive away and the main commercial centres of Aberystwyth and Carmarthen are 45 minutes away.

Cobblers Cottage sleeps 2 adults with a cot available on request. The double bedroom is complete with an ensuite bathroom, with bath and shower over and heated towel rail. There is a lounge with Freeview TV and built in DVD player. The kitchen area has full cooking facilities including hob, cooker, fridge and microwave. A selection of books, games and DVDs are provided for your entertainment. The accommodation is a single storey self contained annex to the owner’s property with its own separate side entrance. Outside there is off road parking for one car directly in front of the accommodation, together with a patio area with seating in the front garden.

The rental price includes bed linen and tea towels, however no bathroom or beach towels are provided. All heating and electricity costs are included.
