Situated on the edge of the historic village of Laugharne, Church Street offers the opportunity to explore the area with its connections to the poet Dylan Thomas. The village, overlooked by the castle, is only half a mile away with its choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs. It also has gift shops, a silversmith, a 1940s museum, a Post Office, hairdressers and a convenience store. Famed for the Dylan Thomas connection, the boat house and his writing shed area are a short walk from the village centre and can also be reached by footpath from the church.

Carmarthenshire offers many opportunities for those who enjoy walking with an extensive footpath network, including the round Wales coastal path, a good estuary and woodlands for bird watching. Also in the area are many sites for estuary or sea fishing.

Pendine is four miles away with its seven mile sandy beach, often used for speed record attempts and home to The Museum of Speed. St Clears is about four miles away and has a wide range of shops and take away food outlets. About a twenty minute drive away is the county town of Carmarthen where you can find a cinema, a superb shopping centre and the twice weekly market.

Accommodation
Church Street sleeps up to 6 in 3 bedrooms on the first floor: two double bedrooms and one with a three quarter size double bed. Also on this floor is the bathroom with a bath with electric shower over, WC and washbasin.

On the ground floor is the fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, double oven, hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee maker and plenty of pots, pans and other items for your stay.

The sitting room has a large comfy three piece suite, a flat screen TV with DVD and FreeSat, a separate dining area with table and six chairs.

Outside
The rear garden is fully enclosed and secure with access from both sides of the cottage, there is a hose for muddy wellies and dogs. Pets welcome at no extra charge, please advise when booking of type of pet and number.
