Cartref Bach in Llanrhystud is a bright sunny cottage sleeping 4+ only 700 metres from the beach and Ceredigion Heritage Coastal Path. The cottage is in the old pretty part of the village overlooking open fields and the Parish church. Within a short walk there is a village shop, pub and golf and leisure club both of which serve food. Permits to play golf are available to purchase and special weekly tickets for the pool and leisure centre can also be purchased by arrangement.
Aberystwyth which is 9 miles north offers a wide selection of entertainment restaurants, pubs, theatre and cinemas. Aberaeron 6 miles south is a very attractive Georgian town with harbour and restaurants.
Accommodation
Cartref Bach sleeps 4+ in two large first floor bedrooms both with king sized beds; extra bed and cot available for children on request. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite facilities with white modern fittings, plenty of hot water, toilet paper and hand wash, they are well lit and carpeted. One bedroom has an ensuite with walk in shower, wash basin and toilet and the other bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath with shower over, wash basin and toilet. Both bedrooms have fitted carpets, views of the coastal hills and come with clean white linen and large fluffy white towels (guests are asked to provide beach towels).
The interior of Cartref Bach has been completely refurbished and is modern, stylish with some exposed stone walls and elegant lighting. The furniture is a lovely mix of modern and some old pieces.
The large sitting room has two sofas, two chairs, stereo, stereo Radio / CD player with MP3 connection. The cottage is beautifully warm for those winter breaks with full oil fired central heating and a wood burner (logs provided).
The big dining kitchen is well fitted with plenty of work surfaces and very well equipped to prepare some of the local foods available. There is an electric range, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and food mixers. The oak refectory table seats six people comfortably and there is a high chair available.
Also downstairs is a toilet and utility room with washing machine and drying facilities.
Outside
Outside there is a sunny bench facing south at the front and a large mature garden at the rear with garden furniture and a barbeque. There is adequate off road parking.
