Cabin Ishbel nestles in the trees on the edge of Penlan Holiday Village, a small family-run holiday park of Swiss-style lodges in a beautiful woodland setting. It is a mile from the village of Cenarth with its pubs, tea rooms, shops, petrol station, spa leisure centre and the famous Cenarth Falls and salmon leaps. Cabin Ishbel is a cosy peaceful place to enjoy a family holiday, situated in beautiful woodland, with gorgeous views of the Preseli Hills, it is the perfect base from which to explore the countryside and the Cardigan coast.
The park has a small shop, a bar and an outdoor pool (in summer). The village of Cenarth is just one mile away, and has two pubs, a tea room, post office, petrol station and a spa leisure centre. The stunning Cardigan coast is a short drive away, with dozens of small sheltered sandy beaches to choose from. The market towns of Newcastle Emlyn with its castle and selection of small shops is 5 miles away and Cardigan 10 miles away. Cabin Ishbel is an ideal base to visit the area or just to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Accommodation
Cabin Ishbel sleeps 6 to 8 people - six people in the three bedrooms (a double, a twin and a bunk) and a further two people on the living room sofa beds. All mattresses are orthopaedic foam mattresses.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with icebox, toaster, kettle, microwave, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The dining table has views across the fields.
The lounge is super cosy, with a gas heating stove to help keep you warm on chilly evenings. There are board games, a hifi system and lots of books. There is a DVD player with a selection of films (plus a television to watch them on, which isn't tuned in).
The shower room has an electric shower, WC and washbasin.
Outside
Behind the cabin is a deck which is a lovely sun trap, with table and chairs and a BBQ for outside dining.
