Brynteg Cottage is one of two holiday cottages at Brynarthen where you are assured of a warm welcome, attention to detail and value for money. Brynteg is single storey, a conversion of the 19th century farm stables. It has original exposed stonework in the hallway, a stable-door looking out over your private garden and French doors to the rear. Brynarthen Holiday Cottages are located within the spacious grounds of our home which is nestled in a peaceful, scenic valley, close to the beautiful Cardigan Bay coast with its abundance of wildlife, flora, rugged cliffs, hidden coves, safe sandy beaches, all surrounded by ancient and charming villages full of Welsh history.
Relaxed or energetic, however you choose to enjoy your break, Brynteg Cottage will provide an idyllic setting for your holiday. Come and enjoy the dramatic Cardigan Bay coastline together with rural Wales at her best. If you are feeling energetic, there are a wide variety of activities and places to visit. Activities within the area include golf, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, fly fishing, bird watching, surfing, skiing, beachcombing, and of course walking and climbing in our glorious countryside, or just relax in your own private cottage garden.
The accommodation on one floor comprises kitchen-diner; cosy sitting room; double bedroom; twin-bedded room; bunk bedroom and shower room. Refurbished in 2006, this cottage is fully equipped with electric cooker, freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, television, video, DVD, radio alarm clock and combined CD radio. If you don't feel like cooking every day, there are many restaurants and cosy traditional pubs serving a wide variety of food to suit most tastes. We also provide suppers, picnic and barbecue packs delivered to your cottage.
We provide towels (excluding beach towels), bed linen, tablecloths and tea towels. High chair, stair-gate and cot available if required (pillow and blankets excluded). Electricity is supplied via a coin meter (£1 coins). Laundry room with automatic washing machine and separate tumble drier supplied via a coin meter (£1 coins). Up to 2, well behaved and house trained dogs are allowed and charged at £16 per dog per week.
There is a large, private secluded garden; private entrance and parking area; lock-up shed for cycles and an open barn suitable for small boats, jet ski etc. Barbecue and garden furniture are included. There is also a large lawned and safe enclosed children's area with swings and substantial Wendy house.
Our cottages are the place to stay if you want a relaxing break away from the stresses and strains of modern life. Clean fresh air, wonderful views, stunning sunsets and no crowds. Short breaks may be arranged subject to availability.
