Brynmeillion, in the small village of Bwlch y Fadfa near Talgarreg, is set in stunning countryside, within easy reach of the beautiful West Wales coastline where it is possible to see the bottlenose dolphins play.
The detached cottage is a new renovation of a former cowshed. While some of the original features of the Welsh stone building have been retained, the cottage now has a modern feel.
There is plenty for all the family to do here with a large games room and an enclosed garden for children to play in. Those feeling less energetic will enjoy relaxing in the garden, gazing at the stunning views over our farmland, watching the cattle, sheep and horses graze and the Red Kites overhead as they return to their nearby nest.
Locally you will find numerous restaurants, taverns, takeaways and farm shops to suit a variety of tastes. There are supermarkets in easy reach or you could make use of the Tesco home delivery service to the door.
Accommodation
Brynmeillion sleeps 5 to 6 in 3 bedrooms and all the accommodation is on one level.
Bedroom 1 has a pine double bed and a flat screen TV, Bedroom 2 can be arranged as two single beds or a king size bed (please confirm when booking which option you prefer). Bedroom 3 has a pretty 4 poster single bed plus an additional put up bed for a child if required.
The bathroom has a corner bath with a separate shower cubicle and a wash hand basin. The toilet is located next door to the bathroom and also has a wash hand basin.
The property is spacious and has a comfortable lounge with TV and DVD. Next to the lounge is the well equipped kitchen with the dining area which seats 6. The bedrooms and bathroom are at the other end of the property giving a peaceful and private area away from the living area.
The property has laminate floors throughout and is heated by an oil fired Rayburn which gives the property a homely feel.
Outside
There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and room to store bikes and large beach equipment and a beautiful log cabin which houses the games room with a pool and football table giving hours of additional fun.
In front of the log cabin is a patio area with a picnic table, BBQ and chiminea available for guests to enjoy some outdoor wining and dining. There is a rotary clothes line in the garden.
There is ample parking space for 2 cars and this area is covered in clean chippings.
