Brynllin is a traditional stone cottage on a hill overlooking beautiful countryside and within a mile and a half of the pretty seaside village of Llangrannog. The cottage has recently been fully renovated to a very high standard and sleeps eight adults plus a cot room.
Llangrannog, on the Ceredigion heritage coast, is a tranquil seaside village. It has a safe beach with two cafes, two pubs and a shop. The coastline is rocky headlands and sandy beaches which offer the chance to see bottlenose dolphins which are resident in Cardigan Bay. Many great walks can be taken along the coast visiting coastal bays and the scenery inland is wonderful. Just to the north is the spectacular Ynys-Lochtyn, with the beaches of Penbryn and Tresaith a few miles to the south. Further afield are the Preseli Hills, Tenby and Aberystwyth.
Ideal for larger groups or families, Brynllin, is a stylish five bedroom cottage with two bathrooms and a large south facing landscaped garden.
The main living area is spacious and open plan, incorporating a large sitting area and kitchen diner which is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Views from the living area look out across the valley through wide tri-fold doors which open out onto a patio perfect for summer dining.
The main bathroom which features a large shower, bath, toilet and sink is on the ground floor. Throughout the ground floor, underfloor heating warms the natural slate floor for optimum comfort.
Brynllin sleeps 8 people in one double bedroom on the ground floor plus one double bedroom with super king size bed and two twin bedrooms on the first floor. There is also a cot room with a futon which can sleep one additional guest. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, toilet and sink.
The private garden benefits from a south facing aspect, offering the first and last sunlight of the day.
Parking for vehicles is available on the road next to the cottage. It may be possible to bring 1 well behaved dog outside the months of July and August at a cost of £50 per week. Please confirm before booking.
All bed linen is provided although guests are asked to bring their own towels. Electricity and oil are included. No smoking is allowed inside the cottage.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. A refundable damages deposit of £100 is required for each booking. Please send a separate cheque for this with the balance of your payment, 8 weeks before arrival. It will be refunded in full within 2 weeks of your departure subject to the cottage being left in good condition with no damages. If you have arranged to bring a pet please add £50 to your final payment. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: online bank transfer, cheque.
