Bronwylfa is a charming period cottage with sea views 200 yards from Llangrannog’s sandy beach. Set in a Victorian terrace on a hillside overlooking the village, the cottage has tremendous views out to sea and back up the valley, whilst remaining a short stroll from the village shop, pubs and cafes in the centre of Llangrannog. Situated on a quiet lane, the setting is peaceful even in high summer.
Llangrannog is a popular destination famed for its beaches and stunning National Trust cliff walks. It attracts swimmers, walkers, surfers, bird and dolphin watchers in equal measure. The village has good facilities, with good pubs and cafes, all serving local food. Golf, sailing, and horse riding facilities are close by. The market town of Cardigan, 12 miles away, has shops, galleries, and supermarkets. The surrounding countryside is full of secluded coves, ruined castles and abbeys.
Accommodation
Bronwylfa has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, both on the first floor. An adjoining newly-fitted bathroom has a bath with electric shower overhead, basin and toilet.
On the ground floor, the original front and back parlours have been knocked through to create an open plan sitting room, with a large sofa and two armchairs, and dining area with table and seating for four. There is a digital flat screen TV and hi-fi. The new kitchen has modern cupboards and worktops, an oven and hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer and washing machine. A former utility room has been converted into an additional bathroom with electric shower, basin and toilet. The cottage is snug in winter, with an electric fire, double glazing and storage heaters throughout.
Outside
A lawn to the front of the cottage looks out over the village, beach and sea. At the back, the kitchen gives on to a secluded walled patio (a real sun trap) with table and chairs. Outdoor cupboards give ample storage for buckets and spades, boogie boards etc. There is parking for one car on the premises.
