Enjoy a peaceful holiday at Bluestone Cottage, a converted old stone farm building situated alongside the River Nevern in the Pembrokeshire National Park. The garden cottage is 5 miles from the coast and is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful beaches of Newport and Poppit Sands and the delights of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Nearby are the Preseli Hills, an area of outstanding beauty with stunning views and scenery, perfect for bird watchers and walkers.
The cottage enjoys fishing rights on the River Nevern for those with sewin or salmon licences. These are obtainable from any Post Office. To take best advantage of the views to the Preseli Hills, Bluestone Cottage is built ‘upside-down’, the open plan living area is on the first floor. The cottage is within the grounds of the owners’ former farmhouse; they respect your privacy but are on hand should you have any questions or want recommendations of places to visit.
Accommodation
Bluestone Cottage sleeps 2 in a bedroom with a double bed on the ground floor. Also on this floor is the bathroom with toilet, basin and large shower. From the entrance hall, the stairs lead to the light and comfortable open plan living room on the first floor. This has a wood burning stove and is equipped with a sofa and two comfortable armchairs, a dining table and chairs and satellite TV. The fully equipped kitchen area has an electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave.
Outside
There are a patio area and lawns, fruit trees and flower borders around the cottage. There is ample parking close to the property; please note that there are two small sets of steps up from the parking area to the door.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. If booking Hawen, please enclose a good housekeeping bond of £100 if you are bringing dogs with you.
