Bay Tree Barn is a beautiful cosy mountain top retreat with incredible views in the heart of the stunning Carmarthenshire countryside. At the edge of the Brechfa Forest and at 1000 feet, it boasts unrivalled views of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion and is perfectly placed to explore the delights of these 3 counties. We are totally dog friendly. With plenty of walking from the door along forest trails and with West Wales offering over 260 miles of coastal paths you will never run out of places to ramble. The nearby River Teifi is one of the best trout fishing rivers in Wales. For mountain bikers the Brechfa Forest Trails are world renowned and almost unlimited fire tracks start opposite the barn entrance. The location also makes us a great base for a tour of the Welsh trail centres. The Brecon Beacons are just a short drive away and there are plenty of popular attractions nearby including Aberglasney House and Gardens, Carreg Cennan Castle, Oakwood Theme Park, The National Botanical Garden of Wales and many more. There are a selection of lovely pubs and restaurants nearby and we also offer a mouth-watering menu of home-made meals.

Accommodation
Bay Tree Barn is single storey and sleeps 4 in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with the option to sleep a further two on a sofa bed. It may be possible to accommodate a further 2 on another sofa-bed – please enquire. The bathroom has an electric shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. The kitchen has a cooker/hob, fridge with ice box, microwave and washer/dryer. The living room has a woodburning stove, satellite TV & DVD, music system and FREE WiFi as well as two leather sofas (one is a sofa bed), an armchair and countryside views. Guests at Bay Tree Barn have access to a huge library of over 300 DVD movies. The dining area has a table with seating for 6.

Outside
There is an enclosed garden with garden furniture, barbeque and chiminea. There is ample parking right outside, bike wash and secure storage.

Bay Tree Barn is semi-detached to The Hay Barn which is two storey. An internal door connects the two barns allowing each to be booked individually or together sleeping up to 16. Please contact West Wales Holiday Cottages for further information regarding booking both together.

• Up to 10 well behaved dogs are very welcome providing the cottage is left in the same clean and tidy condition it is presented to you. Pets are charged at £15 each per week (£10 each per short break)
• Optional extras include: home-cooked meals, packed lunches and picnics, mountain bike guide, bike hire, child minding, dog sitting, additional logs.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please £15 per dog for each full week, £10 per dog for a part week. Payment by online transfer preferred. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: online bank transfer, cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
