Welcome to Ashdale Cottage, in wonderful Pembrokeshire. In our opinion, with its sandy beaches, countryside, history, harbours and tourist attractions, Pembrokeshire is like Cornwall but better! Luckily at the moment not everyone knows about this!
Ashdale is a cosy old stone built detached cottage with slate roof, sympathetically extended into a comfortable holiday cottage retaining many charming features like beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. It is perfectly situated to explore the south Pembrokeshire coastline and attractions and offers quality accommodation at very reasonable prices.
The cottage sleeps 8 in four first floor bedrooms: two double bedrooms (one en suite) and two twin bedrooms, plus additional cloakroom with toilet and sink. The family bathroom has a corner bath/shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. The sitting room has a TV and woodburning stove and the large lounge/dining room has a dining table and comfy sofas. The fully equipped modern kitchen includes a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.
Outside there is parking for three cars. The cottage has full central heating and electricity and oil are included. Bed linen and duvets/pillows are provided but please bring your own towels. Logs, high chair, and a cot are available on request. Pets by arrangement. The cottage comes complete with board games, videos, books, BBQ and some garden games.
A separate refundable 'cleaning/damage' deposit of £200 is required per booking and will be returned in full subject to the house and its contents being left clean and undamaged
Ashdale is within 2 miles of the huge sandy beach (with launching slipway) at Amroth, the start of the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Attractions within a short drive include Folly Farm, Oakwood, Dylan Thomas's Laugharne, Tenby, and many others.
Pembrokeshire, with its unique National Coastal Park and Gulf Stream climate, offers countless sandy beaches, spectacular coastal walks, scenic hills, harbours, boating, fishing, surfing, the Milford Haven waterway and beautiful Cleddau River. We’re happy to give advice about our favourite beaches, walks, pubs etc!!
