Ash Cottage on Ty Llwyd Farm near Tanygroes on Cardigan Bay is a romantic cottage for two in a quiet and peaceful setting less than 10 minutes drive from the beach. This spacious single storey barn conversion is located on a secluded, non-working farm of about 14 acres, with gardens and woodland for you to enjoy.
The seaside village of Aberporth with local amenities and two sandy beaches is just 3 miles away. Further along the coast to the north are Tresaith, Penbryn and Llangrannog each with its own character and beach. The market towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn are also within easy reach (6 miles) and have many of the smaller individual shops with local crafts and produce.
There is plenty to explore in Cardigan Bay and north Pembrokeshire: the stunning scenery of the Preseli Hills, the Wildlife Centre, the coastal path and circular walks. There is an abundance of attractions within easy driving distance including Cardigan's cinema/theatre, horse riding, fishing, gardens and golf.
Accommodation
Ash Cottage sleeps two in one double bedroom. There is a bathroom next to it with a double shower, basin and toilet. All of the accommodation is on the ground floor.
The very large sitting room/dining area has two sofas and Freeview TV, DVD and portable radio/CD player. Patio doors offer plenty of natural light and a view out to the private garden and over the lawn beyond to the trees.
The kitchen has a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle.
The ground floor is tiled throughout with under-floor central heating.
Ouside
The patio doors lead into a private garden (gravel) with garden furniture. To the side is a decking area also with garden furniture. There are walks around the farm itself and the wood with many public footpaths beyond. There is space for one car. Ash Cottage is next to Beech Cottage. which also sleeps two people.
