Afon Fach (‘Little Stream’) is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Newport and overlooks part of the estuary. It is a very peaceful location only about 200 metres from the tidal estuary and Pembrokeshire coastal path and has a small stream from Carningli Mountain running through its spacious garden.

Newport is an old market town with fine restaurants, cafés and friendly pubs, all of which are within walking distance of Afon Fach. From the cottage it is a two minute walk to the town and a ten minute walk to The Parrog and Boat Club, making this an excellent place for both family holidays and romantic getaways. Newport is ideal for sailing, surfing, kayaking and fishing. There is also notable birdlife to be seen around the estuary.

Near Newport’s broad sandy beach is an 18 hole links golf course with breathtaking views from every hole; bookable tennis courts are a five minute walk away. Horse riding for the beginner and more experienced is a ten minute car journey.

Accommodation
Afon Fach sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with a 5 foot bed, a twin bedded room and 3 foot bunk beds. The living room has digital Freeview TV and DVD player, a stereo and numerous books and board games. There is also an open log fire. Patio doors open onto the large patio with garden furniture. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and ample seating for 6 in the dining area. There is a small utility area which houses a washing machine. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over and there is also a second toilet and shower.

Outside
The detached bungalow stands in its own grounds with parking for up to three cars or even a boat. The large garden with patio and lawn overlooks part of the estuary and fields where livestock graze. There is a stream running through the garden with steps down to the stream and so care should be taken with small children.
