Aeron Retreat near Aberaeron on Cardigan Bay is a spacious 4 bedroom holiday home set in peaceful countryside in the tranquil Aeron valley. Aeron Retreat is ideal for both coast and country holidays. Aberaeron is a Georgian town with a picturesque harbour and colourful houses. For walkers, the river Aeron winds back through wooded countryside and the Ceredigion Coastal Path passes through Aberaeron.

Local attractions include fishing, golf, horse-riding, cycling and bird watching. Nearby is Llanerchaeron, a National Trust property with restored mansion house and gardens, open daily to the public. Newquay, with excellent sandy beaches and boat trips for either sea fishing or dolphin spotting, is only 8 miles south of Aberaeron. There are many other good beaches and other coastal villages set along this attractive coastline.

A half an hour drive north brings you to the university town of Aberystwyth, with cinemas, theatre, The National Library of Wales and museums. From Aberystwyth, a steam train will take you along the Rheidol valley, winding through beautiful scenery to Devils Bridge.

Accommodation
Aeron Retreat sleeps 7 to 9 in four bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite with bath, toilet and wash basin. There is also a bed-settee if required. Bedroom 2 and 3 each have twin beds and bedroom 4 has a single bed. The family bathroom has a bath, separate walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.

The spacious lounge has seating for 10 people, TV, Sky, DVD, books and games and a gas fire. The dining room seats 8 and overlooks the patio and pond. The well equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave with grill and fridge/freezer. The attached utility room has a second sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. WiFi is available.

The garage has a fridge/freezer for fishing bait, with plenty of secure storage space for your fishing tackle, bikes etc and indoor drying. The owner of the property lives in a caravan on site and is able to give help and advice if required. Monday to Friday and Friday to Monday breaks may be available outside of high season.

Outside
Aeron Retreat has an enclosed garden with ample parking space and lawned areas to the front and rear. It has rural views from all windows, overlooking fields and woodland. There is garden furniture and a barbecue available.
