Aelwyd Artur is a warm and cosy holiday home about 100 metres from the estuary and coastal path in the beautiful village of Newport in Pembrokeshire.
Newport is set within the Pembrokeshire National Park, at the foot of Carningli Mountain. With its excellent local shops (including a good second-hand bookshop!), pubs and restaurants, it is an ideal setting for both romantic getaways and family holidays.
The sheltered bay and estuary are popular for the sandy beaches, sailing, kayaking and also sea and river fishing. There is an eighteen hole golf course with stunning views, bookable tennis courts and a choice of riding stables within easy reach offering trekking across the Preseli Hills and pub and beach rides.
The locality also offers good local transport and coastal pick-up buses making the area accessible all year round for walkers.
Accommodation
Aelwyd Artur sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: one double and one twin. The double bedroom has a 5ft bed, hairdryer and radio; the second bedroom has two 3ft beds and CD player.
The comfortable sitting/dining room has countryside views, digital Freeview TV and log burner.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, toaster, washer/dryer, fridge with small freezer compartment and microwave.
The shower room has a flat access shower with grab rails, hand basin & separate toilet.
This well-equipped, gas centrally-heated, comfortable single storey property is ideal for holidays at any time of year.
Outside
There is a lawn, bench, carport (where you may padlock your bikes), additional garden furniture and ample hard standing for parking. Please note this area is unfenced so small children should be supervised.
