Aderyn, Llwynwermod Barn is set in its own 10 acres of the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, on the lower slopes of the Cambrian Mountains. It was built in the early 19th Century and has been converted to a high standard, retaining many features of the original coach house.
The nearest town is Lampeter, a thriving university town about 6 miles away which has two supermarkets and a range of smaller shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The nearest pub/restaurant is just over a mile away, in a local village, and they provide extremely good meals. The local service station is a mile away & sells groceries & newspapers. Day fishing is available at Springwater Lakes, within half a mile. Aberaeron, a very attractive harbour town, is about 17 miles away on the Ceredigion Heritage Coast and there are several other very attractive bays and harbours along the coast as well as a number of sandy beaches. About 2 miles from Llwynwermod Barn is Dolaucothi Gold Mine, a National Trust property which dates back to Roman times and open to the public.
Aderyn sleeps 2 plus a cot. Upstairs, the comfortable double bedroom is beamed, with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table, bedside cabinets & individual bedside lamps. The stairs lead into the bedroom. On the ground floor is a kitchen diner, seating 4, which has a washing machine, refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric double oven and grill with ceramic hob and microwave. The downstairs shower room also contains a wash basin, WC and a shaver socket. The cosy lounge has a beamed ceiling, a settee and armchair, coffee table, satellite TV and a radio and CD player.
The cottage is approached by a 1/4 mile farm track. It adjoins the owners' home, with separate access. There is ample car parking space in close proximity to the premises. As the property is surrounded by farmland, dogs cannot be accommodated. Heating, lighting, bed linen, towels & tea towels are included. Fresh eggs are available. No smoking is allowed inside the premises.
Llwynwermod is in a tranquil location, where one can enjoy a relaxing change of pace in this undiscovered area of Wales.
