Acorn Cottage is a barn conversion on a registered working smallholding with rare breed sheep and chickens and a walled farm yard pond. It set within 10 acres of pasture and has far reaching views over open fields. It is situated in a peaceful countryside location, at the end of a 350 metre driveway, yet within 2 miles of Llanybydder with its famous monthly horse sales and 5 miles from the University town of Lampeter. Acorn Cottage has been beautifully converted from an original old outbuilding, yet still retains much of its character, with thick stone walls and large beamed roof. It is a tastefully decorated and cozy 2 storey cottage.

There are two bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds. The bathroom has a double shower, toilet and wash basin. The large superb kitchen/diner is fully equipped with electric cooker, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave. French doors open out into a fenced garden. The comfortable cosy lounge has satellite TV and DVD, with French doors opening into a hallway with a cloakroom containing wash basin and toilet. The cottage has oil central heating and all fuel for heating and cooking is included in the price. Bed linen and tea towels are provided. One well behaved pet is welcomed by arrangement. No smoking. There is ample off road parking.

Acorn Cottage is a lovely cottage in a very peaceful location yet within 25 minutes of the Cardigan Bay coast with its popular resorts of New Quay and Aberaeron. It is ideally situated to explore this beautiful area of West Wales.

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please pay the deposit within 7 days.
