2 Grannant Villas is a three storey semi-detached Edwardian Villa centrally located in St Dogmaels on the Teifi Estuary, 2 miles from Cardigan and just over 1 mile from the sandy beach of Poppit Sands and the beginning of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. St Dogmaels has a Spar shop, several pubs, an arts and crafts gallery, the Old Mill and Tea Shop and the historic 12th century Abbey.
The busy market town of Cardigan provides supermarkets, restaurants, a large undercover market, a swimming pool and an excellent theatre/cinema. Further up the Ceredigion coast are the sandy beaches of Mwnt, Tresaith and Penbryn, as well as several picturesque seaside villages. Local attractions include fishing and canoeing on the River Teifi, Cenarth Falls, the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran and boat trips around Cardigan Bay. Other nearby activities include paintballing, quad biking, a dry ski slope and the Oakwood Theme Park (approximately 45 minutes away).
The house has been recently refurbished to a high standard and sleeps up to six people. There are two bedrooms on the first floor; the main bedroom with a kingsize double bed and the second bedroom with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, basin and lavatory. The second floor has been arranged as a bedroom/playroom for children with twin beds, a full size daybed, floor cushions, T.V. and DVD player. The ground floor has a hall which leads into the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room which is light, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining area has a farmhouse dining table, 5 matching chairs and an old Welsh settle. There is also an old fashioned coal burning range. The sitting room area has a three seater and a two seater sofa together with a matching chair, working open fireplace, T.V. and DVD player. There is gas central heating throughout. There is a small garden with barbeque and table and chairs. Parking for one car.
