Pendre Cottage in Drefach Felindre is a charming Welsh stone cottage, sleeping 5, with a pretty brook running through the garden. Drefach Felindre is a village in the tranquil Teifi Valley. Within walking distance there is a pub which has real ales and good homecooked food and a number of shops including a Spar and Post Office. The National Welsh Woollen Mill and Museum is situated in Drefach Felindre. The beautiful twin beaches at Aberporth only l2 miles away and the north Pembrokeshire beaches and coast path are within 20 minutes. For dog owners Poppit and Newport sands permit dogs all year round and are within an easy drive. The market town of Newcastle Emlyn, situated on the Teifi River is 3 miles away, with many local shops, castle, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Also on the Teifi River the spectacular Cenarth Falls and coracle museum is a 10 minutes drive. Cilgerran with its deep gorge (canoe trips and hire available), castle, wildlife park and visitor centre (watch out for otters, kingfishers and many other birds and animals) is 15 minutes away. Other local attractions include golf, riding, fishing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing, gardens, local craft workshops and craft trails, many walks and wonderful scenery, boat trips (seals and dolphins are to be seen off the local coast). Further away there are many other places of interest such as St. David's (the smallest city and cathedral), Aberaeron, Tenby and the Preseli Hills.

Pendre Cottage sleeps 5 in three bedrooms. On the second floor there is a double room with king size bed and exposed beams, On the first floor is one twin room (twin beds with beamed ceiling) and a further bedroom with a single bed and beamed ceiling. There is also a travel cot available. On the ground floor is the bathroom with a bath with a shower over, wash basin and toilet. On the same floor is the lounge with a beamed ceiling, feature fireplace (with electrical fire), Digital TV and DVD player. There is an additional seating area on this floor for relaxing away from the TV.

On the lower ground floor is the well-equipped kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, butler style sink, and washing machine/tumble dryer. The dining room is overlooking the garden with pretty stream and provides seating for six. There is also a cloakroom with toilet and wash basin.

The garden is accessed over a footbridge and provides flower borders, the small stream (where you can paddle your feet), patio area with garden furniture and lawn area. Bed linen and towels are included but please bring your own beach towels. Two well-behaved pets are welcome at an additional charge of £20 per pet per week. No smoking is permitted inside the cottage. There is roadside parking for one car on the quite road in front of the cottage and further space available further down the lane.

Pendre Cottage in Drefach Felindre is a charming place to unwind and relax, with a pretty stream gently babbling in the garden, a pub within walking distance and a good central location to enjoy the countryside, the beaches and local attractions this area has to offer.

Please note:Due to the close proximity of the stream, Pendre may be unsuitable for very young children and all children must be closely supervised.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. Pets are charged at £20 per week per pet.
